Postage & delivery
When will my order be posted?
We make everything to order, from scratch. Orders received before 11am Monday – Friday will be placed for next day delivery. Weekend orders will be dispatched on Monday.
Who will deliver my order?
We use DHLs next day deliver service (48 hours for Northern Ireland and 48-72 hours for Scottish Highlands, outer Hebrides, Jersey and Guernsey).
DHL will provide you with a text and email alerts, and a one hour delivery window on the day of delivery, so it is important you provide contact details when prompted at checkout.
Please note: refunds are not given for delayed parcels
Is weekend delivery available?
Orders placed before 11am on Friday will be delivered on Saturday. Orders placed online at weekends will be dispatched on Monday.
Does someone need to be at home to receive the order?
Ideally, yes but through the link with the courier sends you, you will be able to designate a neighbour or a safe space where the parcel can be left.
Can I write a gift note?
Of course we can! There will be a box on the basket checkout for you to write a gift note. All we ask is that you keep it down to 100 words.
Do you ship to countries outside the UK?
Sorry, at the moment we don't.
Can I collect my order?
We're sorry, not at the moment. We are primarily an online shop and we do not have the facilities or space for collections but we offer a next day delivery service where possible on our all our brownies and cookies.
Can I pay with Apple pay?
Yes you can, but please be aware that some third-party payment system, such as Apple Pay, can override the delivery address that you manually type. Please double check the order confirmation email you receive from us to ensure the delivery address is correct.

Are they suitable for everyone?

Are they vegetarian?
Yes.
What is the shelf life?
All our brownies and blondies will last at room temperature for 7 days, for best results, keep them in the fridge for you to 10 days, or freeze them for up to 3 months.
How big are they?
The standard sized ones are 6.5cm each and the mini ones are 3cm each.
Do they contain any allergens?

Can I order my own mix of your brownies?

Do you sell for weddings or other big occassions?
Of course we can. Please, contact us at enquiries@confectionery.co.uk.
Do your bakes contain alcohol?
No.
Are your brownies nut-free?
No sorry, even if our brownies and blondies don’t contain nuts, they are made in a small kitchen so there is a high possibility that every bake we make contains nut traces.
I've changed my mind on my order, can I get a refund?
No sorry, perishable food items aren’t covered by the Consumer Contracts Regulations, so after the item has been posted you cannot change your mind. For more information please see our Terms & Conditions page.
